The Story Behind Sunshine

Hi, I'm Ann Mariya Joseph.

I find joy in life's simple moments - a good cup of coffee, my cats, a game of basketball, and meaningful conversations. Those little moments remind me that the greatest comfort often comes from feeling seen, heard, and supported.

Sunshine was born from my own experience of pregnancy and early motherhood. While medical care was available, I often felt overwhelmed by the emotional, mental, and practical challenges that happened between appointments.

I kept asking myself, Why are mothers expected to navigate this journey alone?

That simple question became the foundation of Sunshine.

Today, Sunshine exists to ensure that every mother feels supported, informed, and cared for through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early parenthood - because no mother should have to do it alone.
